A new women's movement to accelerate global reforestation and the shift to sustainable living

TreeSisters is a campaign that aims:

• to build a global network of women who want to take positive action in a way that honours feminine energy, leadership and principles (read more on TreeSisters website)
• to co-create solutions that reflect the wealth of women’s gifts and abilities and pitch them towards the cause (read more on TreeSisters website)
• to raise funds to support established tree organisations, particularly in the tropics (read more on TreeSisters website)

TreeSisters is about bringing women together to explore how our gifts can bring about a more appropriate response to climate change. Why women? Because somehow we need to shift gear from dominating life, to honouring and co-creating with nature and this is a more naturally feminine orientation. It’s time for more feminine leadership.

TreeSisters is about women co-creating a campaign that results in measurable change both at the level of behaviour, and around the valuing of women and the feminine principle on this planet.

Our core message is that we can no longer just 'take' without thought for consequence; that we all need to start giving back to the natural world. 'Giving back' needs to become as normal as taking has become. Our primary goal is to inspire people to start giving back through trees.
